There's just no way someone can get bored here at Doziers Lake. There's some flowing water close by, Gideon Swamp is a stream you can check out during your stay, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Tar River. You'll meet a lot of folks from Rocky Mount here, and camping at Doziers Lake is glorious fun, Enfield/Rocky Mount KOA is a glorious local campground. Doziers Lake is right by the Bluff Loop Trail, and Doziers       Lake Dam is a charming place, positively worth a visit. For the period of the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 80's at Doziers Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Doziers Lake. Lots of precipitation falls at Doziers Lake; August is when you get the most rain here; April on the other hand is the driest. After a long day outdoors Holiday                  Inn ROCKY MOUNT-US 64 is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Stream Loop Trail is brilliant fun, and of course, this is a tremendous neighborhood for people who like lakes, Fraziers Pond is a lake nearby.
