At Doug Young Lake Number Two throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter comes
with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Doug Young Lake Number Two descend into the 20's. Not far from Doug Young Lake Number Two, you'll hit upon Clinard Lake which is a striking lake,
and while you're here, you could have a look at Bill Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Near Doug Young Lake Number Two you locate a golf course called Grandview Golf Club, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's
for you then, we recommend Dan River.
