Three Dunes is pretty and can be distinguished from Dotty Pond, and Hampton Inn & Suites Outer Banks-Corolla is a fine place to get some rest. Dotty Pond regularly gets a large amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is April. Through the long summer days here at Dotty Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in       the 70's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Dotty Pond are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Buzzard Lead next to Dotty Pond make for good places to pop by; in the vicinity of Dotty Pond you stumble on a golf course called Goose Creek Golf & Country Club. So many fun things to do at Dotty Pond, so little time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Jeep Trail, and since you                  might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Northeast Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Dotty Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Adventure Bound Campground is a great site for that. A spree to close by Beasley Bay is very relaxing, and you should absolutely visit lovely Currituck Beach since you're here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dotty Pond has to offer, you can camp at Currituck Resort Shores, and dry warm beds await you at The Sanderling Resort and Spa.
