Adventure Bound Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at The Sanderling Resort and Spa. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Currituck Resort Shores is a fine local campground; Buzzard Lead is an exciting swamp in the vicinity of Dotty Pond. Playing golf       is lots of fun at Goose Creek Golf & Country Club, and if you get bored of Dotty Pond you could also pop by nearby Northeast Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Jeep Trail is always a splendid adventure; Three Dunes is pretty and can be observed from here. Canvasback Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out, and Ware Creek is close to Dotty Pond and is always a delight to go to. High temperatures at Dotty Pond during the long summer                  days are in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Dotty Pond temperatures drop to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Beasley Bay is in close proximity and always glorious to visit.
