A visit to Doggett Lake is always a good idea. If you came to camp Utt's Campground is a great site to do that, and Mt. Airy Knights Inn is a pleasant site to get some rest. This site, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. There's so much to do here at Doggett Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Homeplace Recreational Park is a fine spot for that; dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Mount Airy. get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Doggett Lake. This lake is so
wonderful. Go for a hike on the Run Trail; needless to say Beech Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at.
