    What a nice lake Deneen Reservoir is. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bald Mountain Trail, and Blue Rock Knob is easy to spot from Deneen Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Deneen Reservoir, you'll come across Saylors Lake which is a beautiful lake, and it's a wonderful idea to stop at Ayles Creek. So much amusing stuff next to Deneen Reservoir, clearly incredible.  
   Deneen Dam is picturesque and it's in the vicinity of Deneen Reservoir; camping is available at Blue Ridge Gemstone Mine and Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Black Mountain is a splendid choice; a good site to camp here at Deneen Reservoir is Toe River Campground. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Black Mountain/Asheville is a good place to spend a night or two, and Deneen Reservoir is right by the
 
               Red Fork Falls Trail. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Curtis Creek, and next to Deneen Reservoir you hit upon a golf course called Mt. Mitchell Golf Club.
Take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; you might also want to pay a visit to Butler Gap if you're here at Deneen Reservoir. The high level of rain makes Deneen Reservoir a reasonably wet site; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most while October is ordinarily the driest month. This site, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Emerald Lake, and there's whitewater on Toe River - South for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
