The beauty of Dellwood Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Dellwood Lake without first checking out Sandy Bottom, and if you have time, Blue Ridge Parkway is a national park worth a visit. If you come at the right time of year, French Broad River offers some perfect whitewater; hiking is a popular thing to do around Dellwood Lake; Laurel Mountain Trail is a great local trail. Ski Beech has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff;

| | a delightful nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Asheville. Much rainfall falls at Dellwood Lake; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Dellwood Lake rules! Go for a hike on the Side Hill Trail. RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. That right there is a heap of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. After a long day outdoors Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Asheville is a fine spot
to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Dellwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Creek RV Park and Campground is a good place for that. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all
the enjoyable things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Shut-In Trail, and if you yearn for a little side tour, try Stradley Cove. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the vicinity of Dellwood Lake will
keep you coming back again and again. Hit the slopes at Wolf Laurel in close proximity, of course you could also take a look at Westerly Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Dellwood Lake is not far
at all from Asheville, and if you've had enough of Dellwood Lake, Long Valley Lake is close by. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. There are some splendid whitewater spots
on Swannanoa River, and the summit of Glenn Bald can be seen from Dellwood Lake. Don't forget to take a perfect little journey to Ashley Branch, and an afternoon playing golf at High Vista Country Club is always a diversion. High
temperatures at Dellwood Lake through the warm months are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are typically in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Dellwood Lake.
