Going for a hike along the Laurel Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and don't miss out on a spree to Blue Ridge Parkway since you're here. Everybody close by loves skiing at Ski Beech, and don't leave Dellwood Lake without first checking out Sandy Bottom. All year is a good time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. You'll meet a lot of people from Asheville here; why       not take a little visit to Ashley Branch while you're here. Hiking along the Shut-In Trail is delightful fun, and if you've had enough of Dellwood Lake, Westerly Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, French Broad River offers some splendid whitewater, and Glenn Bald is a peak you can distinguish from Dellwood Lake. So many enjoyable things to do at Dellwood Lake, so little time. There are some magnificent whitewater                  spots on Swannanoa River, and why not camp at Parkway Lane RV Park since you're here at Dellwood Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Dellwood Lake a wet place; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is October. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too splendid to be true. Gotta ski! Wolf Laurel is a great spot to do that, and unsurprisingly, A spree to Stradley Cove is always fun. Summertime highs at Dellwood Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; night lows at Dellwood Lake during the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 20's. This site is peerless, just explore all the cool things to do near Dellwood Lake. Dellwood Lake is right by the Side Hill Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn AshevilleI26 Biltmore Square. Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
