Beautiful Dellwood Lake has much to offer visitors. You're probably addicted to lakes, Long Valley Lake is one of those nearby; nearby you come across the Shut-In Trail which is a good hiking trail. Dellwood Lake in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Visiting Blue Ridge Parkway is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and there's whitewater on Swannanoa River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. The Side

| | Hill Trail is a fine hiking trail close to Dellwood Lake, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like High Vista Country Club.
What a site this is for outdoors folks. Dellwood Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Parkway Lane RV Park is a fine local campground, and skiing at Ski Beech is one of those things you just should do. place to stay Comfort Suites Asheville is a brilliant choice, and Ashley Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit.
Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home
again. The vista of striking Glenn Bald near Dellwood Lake is perfect, and you should positively explore Sandy Bottom while you're here. Going for a hike on the Laurel Mountain Trail is always a great adventure, and people from Asheville
love to come here. Dellwood Lake frequently gets a great deal of precipitation; all through July this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is October.
Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a good time.
Camping at Bear Creek RV Park and Campground is always a delightful experience, and if you've had enough of Dellwood Lake, Westerly Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. That right there is a load of entertaining stuff already
but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Asheville is a nice site to get some rest, and you can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Wolf Laurel.
During the warm months here
at Dellwood Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Dellwood Lake. Stradley
Cove is a splendid location to stop by nearby; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend French Broad River.
