These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Some close by water includes Bear Creek, and Deer Park Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Springmaid Mountain is a great local campground. The Laurel Fork Trail offers hiking at its best. For the duration of the summer months at Deer Park Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime

| | comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Deer Park Lake sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Emerald Lake, and Deer Park Lake Dam is not far at all from Deer Park Lake. Deer Park Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. and if you came to camp Bear Ben Family Campground is a great place to do that. You just must fancy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Marion NC, and Chalk Mountain can be distinguished from Deer Park
Lake. Deer Park Lake is a relatively wet place typically with a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Get drenched paddling on Toe River
- South, and there's nice hiking along the Bald Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Deer Park Lake; Red Fork Falls Trail is a tremendous local trail; enjoy a round of golf at Grassy
Creek Golf & Country Club. Whitewater paddling is good on North Toe River, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Marion is a great choice.
