If you like lakes and you're in this part of North Carolina you can check out Deer Park Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Deer Park Lake Dam in close proximity to Deer Park Lake is striking, and get drenched paddling on North Toe River. High temperatures at Deer Park Lake through the summer are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's, and during the dark

| | hours in the winter at Deer Park Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. All the outdoors cool things in the Blue Ridge Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Toe River - South. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Grassy Creek Golf & Country Club is in the vicinity, and Bear Ben Family Campground is a glorious local campground. Deer Park Lake sees pretty high levels of
rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. On a magnificent day at Deer Park Lake you can take a hike along the
Laurel Fork Trail; do stop by Saylors Lake, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Spruce Pine Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by. This lake is so wonderful.
While you're here at Deer Park Lake you can take a hike along the Red Fork Falls Trail, and Deer Park Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Springmaid Mountain is a great location to camp nearby. Dry warm beds await
you at Comfort Inn Marion, and there's some flowing water close by, Bear Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay.
