Go to Davis Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This place, Davis Lake, it completely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Go for a hike on the Side Hill Trail, and soar down the rapids of Swannanoa River in a kayak. Davis Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. Through the summertime months highs here at Davis Lake reach the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures

| | are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Davis Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's.
Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is excellent! You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. Cedar Cliff can be seen from Davis
Lake; pleasant hiking is available along the Shut-In Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Davis Lake; Laurel Mountain Trail is a great local trail, and fine skiing awaits you at Wolf Laurel.
This lake is so wonderful.
Bull Creek is a stream that you may run into during your stay, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Ski Beech. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more fun things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Near Davis Lake you come across Owen Cove which is a nice spot to stop at. There's so much to do here at Davis Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Taps RV Park is a tremendous site for that. Yeah, come here to Davis Lake
for a tremendous time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit French Broad River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Davis Lake has to offer, you can camp at Azalea Country Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. You're
sure to bump into some fine people from Asheville here, and after a long day outdoors Asheville/North Carolina Days Inn is a great place to spend a night or two.

If you have not camped here you are missing out....This is a great campground. I live locally and have been staying here for over twenty years.
