Waddell Lake is a lake close by, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard Charlotte Airport is a fine spot to spend a night or two. While you're here at Danga Lake you can play some golf at Revolution Park Golf Course, and if you came for an overnight stay KOA Kampgrounds is a good location to camp. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. There's whitewater on Catawba       River - South Fork for all you thrill seekers. Lakes are glorious; Legion Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Danga Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Danga Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is April. Camping is available at Charlotte/Fort Mill KOA; at Danga Lake you always meet someone from Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side                  spree to Ticer Branch, and a great nearby hotel is Ramada Airport North Charlotte. Danga Lake Dam has nice water scenery and it's next to Danga Lake. Summer at Danga Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
