Dails Pond typically gets a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Maxwell Mill Campground since you're here at Dails Pond, and you're sure to stumble upon some cheerful people from Goldsboro here. High temperatures at Dails       Pond through the summer are in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Dails Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Some close by water includes Bullard Branch, and do have a look at Kinsey Jones Pond, it's a charming lake.
