Currie Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's so much to do here at Currie Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Lake Campground is a great place for       that, and let's not forget Jackson Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. At Currie Pond all through the warm months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Currie Pond temperatures descend to the 20's. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Currie Pond. Currie Pond is great enough to spend                  more than a day at, Long Leaf Pines Oasis is a great local campground; float down the rapids of Deep River in a kayak. Dry warm beds await you at Greene Leaf. Lakes? Sure, Pools Pond is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful.
