After a long day outdoors Residence Inn Winston-Salem is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Grandview Golf Club. High temperatures at Crystal Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs       down to the 40's with temperatures at Crystal Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. During your tour to Crystal Lake you'll meet some people from Winston-Salem for sure, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Yadkin River. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Tanglewood Family Resort is a perfect spot to do that, and going for a hike on the Moores Knob Trail is always                  a brilliant adventure. The high level of rainfall makes Crystal Lake a rather wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is November. Lakes? Sure, Babcock Lake is in close proximity. Camping at Jomeokee Campground is always a fine experience, and close by you locate the Cooks Wall Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Courtyard Winston-Salem University is a pleasant choice, and there are other places here than Crystal Lake, for example Linville Lake.
