Camping is available at Tanglewood Family Resort, and Creeson Lake is right by the Hanging Rock Trail. Summertime highs at Creeson Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, regularly in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Creeson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Sunset Park Campground       since you're here at Creeson Lake; Creeson Lake is not the only place close by, Dalton Pond is a close by lake. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Creeson Lake. Paddling on Dan River is so much fun; the Cooks Wall Trail offers hiking at its best. A lake nearby is Pineview Lake, and if you're here, you could take a look at Ogburn Branch. Creeson Lake is a wet site that gets much rain; through March this area sees the most                  rain while November is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Winston Salem-Days Inn North, and Reynolds Park Golf Course is a fine golf course nearby. Creeson Lake Dam is worth a visit while you're here, and do take a hike on the Cascade Trail.
