Crawley Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crawley Pond has to offer, you can camp at Outdoor World Corp, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roanoke River. Throughout the days of summer at Crawley Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's

Trail. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Crawley Pond. Do stop at Robinsons Pond close to Crawley Pond, it's a pretty lake, and going for a hike on the Summit Loop Trail is always a nice adventure.
There's so much
to do here at Crawley Pond that you need to camp here for a while, KOA Campgrounds is a great place for that, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Roanoke Rapids, Nc is a great location to spend a night
or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to explore along the Discovery Loop Trail; Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke Rapids / Carolina Crossroads is a splendid place to get some rest.
