Lakes are splendid; Woodfin Reservoir is a lake that's close to Craggy Dam Reservoir, and perfect hiking is available along the Laurel Mountain Trail. The scenery at Craggy       Dam in the neighborhood of Craggy Dam Reservoir is scenic, and Beaverdam Creek is near Craggy Dam Reservoir and is always a diversion to take a look at. If you're visiting Craggy Dam Reservoir from Asheville, you won't be the only one; Campfire Lodgings is a great local campground.
