Gum Swamp is a magnificent local stream; Days Inn Rowland- South Of The Border Exits is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Lumberton here; if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express PEMBROKE is a glorious choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Country Club Lake a wet site; all through the month of July you get the most                  rain around here, and April is when it's the driest. All through the long summer days at Country Club Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
