On a great day at Coopers Pond you can take a hike along the Bluff Loop Trail, and you can stay the night at Enfield/Rocky Mount KOA. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tar River; a delightful lake like Doziers Lake is a perfect place to visit. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Gold Rock- Rocky Mount is a perfect choice,       and some close by water includes Gideon Swamp. All through the summer months highs here at Coopers Pond get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Coopers Pond are in the 20's. Coopers Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is April. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant                  nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Inn - Rocky Mount/Battleboro. This lake is so wonderful. Coopers Pond is a place with many visitors from Rocky Mount, and close by you find the Discovery Loop Trail which is a nice hiking trail. But wait, there's more to do close to Coopers Pond.
