Very pleasant water scenery is available at Continental Can Company Lake Dam near Continental Can Company Lake, and Buckhorn Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. is so wonderful. While you're here at Continental Can Company Lake you can take a hike along the East Loop Horse Trail, and a good nearby hotel is Homewood Suites Raleigh/Cary.
Whitewater paddling is good on Eno River, and if
you came to camp Champion Cheerleading Camps is a perfect place to do that. During the summer at Continental Can Company Lake highs are mostly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the winter the highs are typically
in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Continental Can Company Lake fall into the 20's. Continental Can Company Lake gets lots of water; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Guys Pond

Guy's Pond is a great place to fish. As of my latest fishing trip on 1/25/2009, it was $3 per person and $4 per night camping. Also, 14 years of age and younger were free! This is a great pond. While you are fishing, you can watch the cows, and/or the horses. The pond is much better than Pope's Lake. They kicked us out of that lake on the same day as my trip to Guy's Pond. I rate this pond as a 10 and suggest anyone in the area looking for a fishing hole should try Guy's Pond.... |
