Cone Mills Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and don't forget to take a great little trip to Hogpen Branch. High temperatures at Cone Mills Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Cone Mills Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
