Do stop by Cone Lake while you're in this part of North Carolina. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Why not have a look at Cone Lake Dam if you're here, and Boone Golf Club is a golf course close by. Any time is a great time at Cone Lake if you fancy the outdoors. This spot is so good, just explore all the entertaining things to do in close proximity to Cone Lake. After a long day outdoors Ridgeway Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two. makes Cone Lake a rather wet spot; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is December. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Boone Fork, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Daniel Boone Scout Trail.
All year is a perfect time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Visit Flat Top Branch while you're here at Cone Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Blowing Rock Victorian Inn B&B. This lake is one of the great places
here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sandy Flat Gap is a tremendous location to spend some time at, and a great panorama of picturesque Flat Top Mountain is available.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore
everything Cone Lake has to offer, you can camp at Morgan's Mountain Retreat; you'll meet a lot of folks from Boone here. This lake is so wonderful. On a splendid day at Cone Lake you can take a hike along the Yancey Ridge Trail,
and the skiing at Hawksnest is great. Throughout the warm months highs here at Cone Lake get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's; night lows at Cone Lake all through the wintertime usually descend into the 10's.
