If you need a place to stay Best Western Goldsboro Inn is a pleasant choice, and why not a little side trip to The Canal. Having a good time at Cogdells Pond is trouble-free. After a long day outdoors Gold Inn and Suites is a glorious location to spend a night or two. A lake nearby is Cedar Lake, and Cogdells Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, RVacation Campground is a good place to camp nearby. You'll       need more than a day to explore everything Cogdells Pond has to offer, you can camp at Rock Ridge Campground, and you're sure to run into some nice people from Goldsboro here. The high level of rain makes Cogdells Pond a reasonably wet place; the month with most of the rain is July, and November meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Cogdells Pond is not the only place nearby, Quaker Neck Lake is a nearby lake, and if you want to play some                  golf, you're in luck because Lane Tree Golf Course is close by. At Cogdells Pond through the summer months highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's.
