This is a popular spot for people from Goldsboro; if you need a place to stay Gold Inn and Suites is a good choice. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. If you're a golfer then a splendid close by course is Lane Tree Golf Course. Nearby lakes? Sure,       Quaker Neck Lake is close to Cogdells Pond; if you came to camp Rock Ridge Campground is a good location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Goldsboro. There's so much to do here at Cogdells Pond that you need to camp here for a while, RVacation Campground is a glorious site for that. Cogdells Pond mostly gets a large amount of rain; through July this area sees the most rain, and November is when it's the driest. Summertime                  highs at Cogdells Pond generally tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's.
