A visit to Coffey Trout Lake is always a good idea. All the outdoors cool stuff near Coffey Trout Lake will keep you coming back persistently. The Daniel Boone Scout Trail is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Coffey Trout Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Wilson Creek. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful.

| | some rest. There's so much to do here at Coffey Trout Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Flintlock Campground is a great place for that. Some of the water close by flows, like Andrews Creek; if you come at the right time of year, Gragg Prong River offers some delightful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Coffey Trout Lake you can take a hike along the Yancey Ridge Trail, and Mountain Glen Golf Club is a golf course close by.

Coffey Trout Lake typically gets a great deal of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here; December meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Hidden Valley Motel is a brilliant choice;
the wonderful people of Boone like to hang out nearby. During the summertime months at Coffey Trout Lake highs are usually in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the
winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Coffey Trout Lake.
So many entertaining things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. Head up to Appalachian Mountain and strap some skis to your
feet, and on a pretty day you obtain a great vista of Laurel Mountain from Coffey Trout Lake. This place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. The snow is glorious at Hawksnest, and Coffey Trout Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Grandfather Campground and Cabins is a brilliant local campground.
