During the long summer days at Clodfelter Lake highs are regularly in the 90's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Clodfelter Lake sink into the 20's. Man, is there loads of amusing stuff to do in close proximity to Clodfelter Lake. If you're interested in hydro structures,       you can check out Clodfelter Lake Dam. The high level of rainfall makes Clodfelter Lake a rather wet location; most of the rain falls throughout May while November is regularly the driest month. Swearing Creek is close to Clodfelter Lake and is always a diversion to explore, and a fine location for whitewater paddling is Yadkin River. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Lexington is a good place to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Tamarac Marina                  and Campground while you're here at Clodfelter Lake. If you need a location to stay Highway 8 Motel is a great choice; lots of folks from Lexington-Thomasville come here. This lake is so wonderful.
