Doug Young Dam Number Two is a delightful place near Clinard Lake; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Winston-Salem. A lake close by is Doug Young Lake Number Two, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dan River. So many amusing things in the vicinity of Clinard Lake, completely extraordinary. A quick visit to Bill Branch close to Clinard Lake is a tremendous idea. brings highs in the 80's to Clinard Lake. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Clinard Lake are in the 20's. Yadkin River has a great
whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Cascade Trail. You could also stop at Shattalon Lake since you're here at Clinard Lake; it's close by. Going for a hike on the Cooks Wall Trail is always a magnificent
adventure, and Residence Inn By Marriott Winston/Salem is a brilliant location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Tanglewood Family Resort, and while you're here you can play some golf at Grandview Golf Club.

 | 18 miles away Hwy 772 access as been roped off with No-Trespassing signs. This access is used a lot during the summer months, but evidently it is private property or someone is confused.
