There's some flowing water nearby, Bill Branch is a stream you can pop by while here, and camping at Jomeokee Campground is always a pleasant experience. Here at Clinard Lake there are plenty of folks from Winston-Salem, and close to Clinard Lake you hit upon a golf course called Grandview Golf Club. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Summer at Clinard Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Clinard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Clinard Lake without first going for a hike along the Cascade Trail, and Comfort Suites Winston-Salem is a tremendous site                  to get some rest. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Yadkin River. Clinard Lake is a pretty wet place typically with a lot of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is November. There's whitewater on Dan River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if you came to camp Tanglewood Family Resort is a glorious location to do that. Go for a hike on the Moores Knob Trail; lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Shattalon Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
