Cliffside Lake is a lake worth visiting. Cliffside Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. High temperatures at Cliffside Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's; night lows at Cliffside Lake through the winter frequently sink into the 20's. get a perfect panorama of Big Dog Mountain. There's so much to do here at Cliffside Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Vanhook Glade Campground is a glorious spot for that. Cliffside Lake typically gets a great deal of precipitation;
March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is October. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cullasaja River, and there are magnificent locations
to explore along the Three Forks Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not have a look at Cliffside Dam if you're here, and needless to say Big Creek flows through this vicinity. Highlands Falls Country Club Pool & Tennis is a good
golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail, and if you need a place to stay The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a splendid choice. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Scaly Mountain, and going for a hike on the Shortoff Mountain Trail is always a perfect adventure.
