     The beauty of Cliffside Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail is always a good adventure, and Cliffside Dam is gorgeous. If you need a site to stay The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a tremendous choice, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Cullasaja River. Cliffside Lake regularly gets a large amount of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most  
   rain, and the driest month is October.
Cliffside Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Cliffside Lake. Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a great location to get some rest; a day on the slopes of Scaly Mountain is just what you need. There's so much to do here at Cliffside Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Van Hook Glade Campground is a wonderful place for that,
 
               and a golf course nearby is Highlands Falls Country Club Pool & Tennis.
This lake is so wonderful. From Cliffside Lake you acquire a good vista of Big Dog Mountain, and the skiing at Sky Valley is magnificent. All through the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Cliffside Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Cliffside Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. All the outdoors exciting things in the Blue Ridge Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Near Cliffside Lake you stumble on the Three Forks Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and you can stay the night at Vanhook Glade Campground.
Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a great time. The Shortoff Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail close to Cliffside Lake, and of course Big Creek flows through this neighborhood. A short tour to Bridal Veil Falls is always worthwhile.
