North Carolina has many beautiful lakes and Clarks Pond is one of them. Clarks Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Acres is a good local campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Mintz Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Glenville Lake is close by; get yourself into a kayak and hit Upper Little River. days here at Clarks Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Clarks Pond sink
into the 20's.
Knights Inn Fayetteville-Fort Bragg is a nice place to get some rest, and if you're stopping by from Fayetteville, you won't be the only one. There's always Clarks Pond Dam to explore near Clarks Pond; get soaked paddling on Little River. This lake is so wonderful.

 | Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking. Also nice beach area for the summer.... |
