Go to Clarks Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Cape Fear is a brilliant whitewater spot close to Clarks Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn And Suites Lillington, NC. Be careful coming to Clarks Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. A magnificent spot for whitewater paddling near Clarks Lake is Upper Little River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the American Beech Trail. This lake is so wonderful. North/Wade/I-95/Exit 58 is a good choice. There's so much to do here at Clarks Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fayetteville Koa is a glorious place for that.
The high level of rainfall makes Clarks Lake a rather wet
site; during the month of July you get the most rain around here; November is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Clarks Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, usually
in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's while Clarks Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
