Hidden Lake Campgrounds is a fine local campground; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Deep River. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy       themselves. If you came for an overnight stay Cane Creek Campground and RV Park is a great site to camp, and you can take a little trip to Clapp Pond Dam while you're here at Clapp Pond. Clapp Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April meanwhile is the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Rocky River offers some great whitewater; you'll stumble on                  a delightful lake called Siler City Water Supply Lake Number Three.
