It's always fun to stop by City Lake. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at City Lake. Yadkin River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby; why not take a look at Lexington Storage Reservoir Dam while you're here. Throughout the summer months at City Lake highs are typically in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, frequently in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; overnight lows during the wintertime

Near City Lake you find a golf course called Lexington Golf Club. You'll need more than a day to look at everything City Lake has to offer, you can camp at Thousand Trails.
