If the weather is tremendous here at Chesterfield Lake, you can go for a hike along the East Loop Horse Trail, and Comfort Inn Fuquay-Varina is a tremendous place to get some rest. The amount of rain that falls at Chesterfield Lake is close to the national average; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.

Yeah, come here to Chesterfield Lake for a fine time. Soar down the rapids of Upper Little River in a kayak; golf can be played at Hidden Valley Golf Club. Summertime at Chesterfield Lake arrives
with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Chesterfield
Lake sink into the 20's. Chesterfield Lake is not the only place close by, Guys Pond is a close by lake; going for a hike along the Group Camp Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
This lake is so wonderful.
Chesterfield Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Dream Camps is a good site to camp nearby, naturally you could also stop at Youngs Pond if you're here; it's not far at all.

| Guy's Pond is a great place to fish. As of my latest fishing trip on 1/25/2009, it was $3 per person and $4 per night camping. Also, 14 years of age and younger were free! This is a great pond. While you are fishing, you can watch the cows, and/or the horses. The pond is much better than Pope's Lake. They kicked us out of that lake on the same day as my trip to Guy's Pond. I rate this pond as a 10 and suggest anyone in the area looking for a fishing hole should try Guy's Pond.... |
