Cheoah Lake is a nice lake to visit. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more enjoyable stuff to do in the Great Smoky Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Historic Fontana Village, and you can stay the night at Horse Cove Campground. Just can't get enough of the Great Smoky Mountains. Chedah Dam is a place that is in close proximity to Cheoah Lake; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Fodderstack Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll

| | need more than a day to look at everything Cheoah Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rattler Ford Campground; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Stiffknee Trail.

spend a night or two. At Cheoah Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in
the 20's to Cheoah Lake.
If you're here at Cheoah Lake, you could check out Aiken Branch; Cheoah Lake is in close proximity to Bearpen Gap which is absolutely worth a visit. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here
than Cheoah Lake, for example Cheoah Valley Lake. Cheoah Lake gets a lot of water; March is the wettest month with most rain; October is the month with the least moisture.
Cheoah Lake is one of the lakes here in the Great Smoky Mountains.
