Cheoah Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Cheoah Lake commonly gets a good deal of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Cheoah Lake is located in the Great Smoky Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Dancing Bear Lodge, and if you came for an overnight stay Rattler Ford Campground is a wonderful site to camp.

| | side journey, try Bearpen Gap, and good hiking is available along the Fodderstack Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Horse Cove Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Cheoah River. So much enjoyable stuff in the Great Smoky Mountains, just fantastic. It's a pleasant idea to pop by Aiken Branch, it's right next door to Cheoah Lake, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Slickrock | |

Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Calderwood Lake, and there are tremendous spots to discover along the Stiffknee Trail. What a spot this is for outdoors people. This is a tremendous
neighborhood for people who like lakes. Cheoah Valley Lake is a lake close at hand; Highland Manor Inn And Conference Center is a great spot to get some rest.
The warmest time of the year at Cheoah Lake arrives with high temperatures
in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Cheoah Lake descend into the 20's. And that's not everything there is to do here in the
Great Smoky Mountains. Don't leave Cheoah Lake without first going for a hike along the Big Stack Gap Branch Trail, and you don’t have to go far from Cheoah Lake to make out the water at Chedah Dam.
