This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Sunset Hills Public Golf Course is a great way to kill some time, unsurprisingly you could also pop by Dillons Twin       Lakes if you're here; it's not far at all. High temperatures at Charlotte Reservoir during the summer months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 50's with temperatures at Charlotte Reservoir dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. The summit of Capps Hill can be spotted from Charlotte Reservoir; get yourself into a kayak and hit Catawba River - South Fork.
