Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A magnificent spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Cedarbrook Lake is Fisher River, and Cedarbrook Lake is a
nice site to visit for more than one day, Holly Ridge Family Campground is a nice site to camp nearby. At Cedarbrook Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Highs
during the winter are generally in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Cedarbrook Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Dogwood Trail is magnificent fun; Cedarbrook Lake Dam is lovely.
