Having a brilliant time at Castlebury Lake is uncomplicated. A lake nearby is Gerringer-Goodman Pond, and Haw River is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. Summertime highs at Castlebury Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's,       and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Castlebury Lake. While you're here at Castlebury Lake you can take a hike along the East Loop Horse Trail, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Castlebury Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Apex is a nice location to spend a night or two; Castlebury Lake is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Dream Camps is a tremendous location                  to camp nearby. You could also go to Grey Pond if you're here at Castlebury Lake; it's close by; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Buckhorn Creek. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Castlebury Lake has to offer, you can camp at Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground, and there's some flowing water nearby, Clark Branch is a stream you can take a look at while here. Castlebury Lake typically gets a lot of rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while September is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
