Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little River, and the top of Black Knob is easily distinguished from Cascade Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Golf can be played at Glen Cannon Country Club Golf, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites BREVARD is a pleasant place to spend a night       or two. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mullinax Trail. Lakes? Sure, Dupont Lake is in close proximity. There's so much to do here at Cascade Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ultimate Ride Campground is a fine place for that, and if you're here, you could check out Ailents Cove Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Cascade Lake without first paying a visit to Hooker Falls, and there's pleasant hiking along                  the Black Mountain Trail. The warmest time of the year at Cascade Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Cascade Lake are in the 20's. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do close to Cascade Lake. All year is a perfect time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you adore the outdoors. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cascade Lake has to offer, you can camp at Little River Camping Resort; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Little River Camp Lake. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great globe it would be. The Laurel Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and Cascade Lake is a place with many visitors from Brevard. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains.
