Why not stop by Cambro Pond if you're passing through these parts. You're probably hooked on lakes, Smith Lake is one of those nearby, and the Group Camp Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Upper Little River. A lot of rainfall falls at Cambro Pond; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and November meanwhile is the driest month.

Camping at Lazy Acres is always a great experience; there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Fish Camp Trail. If you need a location to stay Sleep Inn ,Inn & Suites is a pleasant choice; paddling on Cape Fear is so much fun. For the duration of the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Cambro Pond. For the duration
of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Cambro Pond dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
If the weather is brilliant here at Cambro Pond, you can go for a hike along the American Beech Trail, and Holiday Inn Express Spring Lake-Ft. Bragg/Pope Afb is a glorious place to get some rest.
