Calderwood Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Calderwood Lake rocks! Going for a hike on the Fodderstack Trail is always a splendid adventure; get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Cheoah River. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Calderwood Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while

| | Calderwood Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. Calderwood Lake gets a lot of water; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is October.

close by called the Big Stack Gap Branch Trail.
If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Great Smoky Mountains. The Stiffknee Trail is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Calderwood Lake,
and lakes are such calm spots, why not stop at Cheoah Valley Lake. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Great Smoky Mountains. A perfect close by hotel is Highland Manor Inn And Conference
