This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Roanoke Rapids, Nc. There's so much to do here at Cagles Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Outdoor World Corp is a nice site for that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cagles Pond; Discovery Loop Trail is a magnificent local trail. For the period of the summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Cagles Pond;       the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Cagles Pond. Cagles Pond gets a large amount of water; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April is the month with the least moisture. Cagles Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads is a fine local campground;                  for you golfers we recommend close by Lake Gaston Golf Club. Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke Rapids / Carolina Crossroads is a good location to get some rest; paddling on Roanoke River is so much fun. Good hiking is available along the Dam Site Loop Trail, and Cagles Pond Dam is beautiful. So many cool things to do at Cagles Pond, so little time. There's wonderful hiking along the Summit Loop Trail, and Dickens Pond is a great lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes?
