This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Moores Springs Campground on the Dan River is a great spot to camp, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Creek. by called the Cascade Trail. Grandview Golf Club is a fine golf course close by; on a good day you can take a hike along the Cooks Wall Trail.
