Go to Byrd Mill Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Byrd Mill Pond while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are frequently in the 50's while Byrd Mill Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Byrd Mill Pond frequently gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls through July while November is generally the driest month.

| | After a long day outdoors Fayetteville-Days Inn North/Wade/I-95/Exit 58 is a great site to spend a night or two; Byrd Mill Pond is right by the Little Creek Loop Trail. This lake is so wonderful. It's a magnificent idea to stop at Williams Swamp, it's near Byrd Mill Pond. There's so much to do here at Byrd Mill Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Fayetteville Koa is a nice place for that. Microtel Inn And Suites Lillington, NC is a wonderful location | |

to get some rest, and Byrd Mill Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Acres is a great local campground.
You'll meet a lot of folks from Dunn here, and you can run the rapids of Cape Fear. Near Byrd Mill Pond
you stumble on a golf course called Pine Burr Golf Course, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Group Camp Trail. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Byrd Mill Pond. Take a hike on the American Beech Trail, and there's whitewater on Upper Little River for all you adrenaline kick people.
