Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Busbee Reservoir. Gashes Creek flows through this vicinity, and Brookwood Golf Club is a great golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Ski Beech, and Ramada Asheville is a wonderful place to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Paddling on French Broad River is so much fun, and there's tremendous hiking along

| | the Laurel Mountain Trail. You just have to go for the Blue Ridge Mountains. Go for a hike on the Side Hill Trail, and camping is available at Taps RV Park. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too tremendous to be true. If you would like a little side tour, try Baldwin Cove. If you need a location to stay Brookstone Lodge is a tremendous choice, and Swannanoa River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. Man, | |

visiting mood you can always explore nearby Asheville Recreation Park Lake; a splendid site to camp here at Busbee Reservoir is Arden RV Park and Camp Grounds. During the summer months here at Busbee Reservoir, high temperatures usually
reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's while Busbee Reservoir night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Wolf Laurel, and Blue Ridge Parkway is a very brilliant place to have a look at. At Busbee Reservoir you always meet someone from Asheville. Lakes?
Sure, Bass Pond is around here. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Busbee Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is October.

 | 19 miles away This section is fun but not very difficult. The river is full of tubers in the summer. Trout fishing is good here so bring a rod, just be sure you know the regulations as they change on different sections and the game wardens are notorious ticket writers. The put in is at ''Fish Top'' access and the take out is at the ''Big Rock'' access parking lot both on Green River Cove Rd. Also from the Big Rock access to the public landing on Lake Adger is a good trip, but a little slower.... |
