Gashes Creek flows through this vicinity, and Brookwood Golf Club is a great golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Ski Beech, and Ramada Asheville is a wonderful place to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Paddling on French Broad River is so much fun, and there's tremendous hiking along       the Laurel Mountain Trail. You just have to go for the Blue Ridge Mountains. Go for a hike on the Side Hill Trail, and camping is available at Taps RV Park. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too tremendous to be true. If you would like a little side tour, try Baldwin Cove. If you need a location to stay Brookstone Lodge is a tremendous choice, and Swannanoa River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. Man,                  is there plenty of amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Don't leave Busbee Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Shut-In Trail; Baldwin Gap can be observed from Busbee Reservoir. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Asheville Recreation Park Lake; a splendid site to camp here at Busbee Reservoir is Arden RV Park and Camp Grounds. During the summer months here at Busbee Reservoir, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's while Busbee Reservoir night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Wolf Laurel, and Blue Ridge Parkway is a very brilliant place to have a look at. At Busbee Reservoir you always meet someone from Asheville.
