A wonderful nearby hotel is Red Roof Inn Gaffney, and of course Hills Creek flows through this neighborhood. Camping is available at Foothills Family Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Broad River. There's whitewater on Island Creek for all you adrenaline people, and why not camp at Whispering Ridge Campground since you're       here at Burlington Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the neighborhood of Burlington Lake. For you golfers we recommend close by Dogwood Valley Golf Course; Mount Pleasant Fishing Lake is a good lake nearby. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Burlington Lake. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's; night lows in the 20's for Burlington Lake.
