Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Kenmure Country Club; if you've had enough of Bullseye Orchard Lake, Melrose Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Green River; Trammel Gap is a delightful location
to spend some time.
You're almost certainly keen on lakes, Lake Shelia is one of those nearby. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Orchard Lake Dam, and Orchard Lake Campground is a tremendous local
campground. You'll meet a lot of folks from Greenville here; the peak of Alec Mountain can be seen from Bullseye Orchard Lake.
Bullseye Orchard Lake regularly gets a great deal of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and April is the month with the least moisture.

...Bought by Susan and Steve Suber in 1997, the Flowermill RV. campground is in Taylors, SC. It's proximity to The Mountains and surrounding lakes makes it a perfect place to stay. The park is right next to the Enoree river on land that was once used as a mill. The old structure still exists as does the dam that provided its power. With its sandy beach and beautiful waterfall, I cant think of a better place to relax and let the sounds of nature wash the stress away. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more informative. A pure delight... |
