Do have a look at Buffalo Lake Dam if you're here at Buffalo Lakes, and getting to Blue Spring Branch from Buffalo Lakes is trouble-free. Buffalo Lakes is a wet location that gets a great deal of rain; through the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is November. This lake is so wonderful. Buffalo Lakes is a place with many visitors from Sanford, and going for a hike on the Northington Ferry Trail is always a nice adventure.

| | Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not check out Blanchards Pond near Buffalo Lakes, and close by you discover the Lanier Falls Trail which is a nice hiking trail. High temperatures at Buffalo Lakes throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and the night is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 60's. from Buffalo Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Spring Lake Ft Bragg is a splendid choice, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Campbell Creek Loop. This place, Buffalo
Lakes, it clearly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground is a tremendous local campground, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Little River. Yeah, come here to Buffalo Lakes for a glorious
time. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SPRING LAKE-FT. BRAGG/POPE AFB, and a round of golf at nearby Carolina Lakes Golf Course is a wonderful way to kill some time.

Smith Lake
 | 12 miles away Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking. Also nice beach area for the summer.... |

 | 13 miles away I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo. We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so.... |
