At Buckhorn Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Buckhorn Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Of Reidsville is a great spot to spend a night or two, and drift down the rapids of Reedy       Fork Creek in a kayak. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Buckhorn Lake. Greensboro Campground is a delightful local campground. You're sure to come across some great folks from Burlington here, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Apple Pond. Buckhorn Lake gets a great deal of water; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while April is the month with the least                  amount of precipitation. At Buckhorn Lake Dam next to Buckhorn Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and obviously, this is a glorious neighborhood for people who like lakes, Pritchett Lake is a lake close by.
