What a nice lake Buckhorn Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. At Buckhorn Lake you always meet someone from Sanford; playing golf is lots of fun at Deep River Golf Course. And that's not all you can do here at Buckhorn Lake. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Lanier Falls Trail; Buckhorn Lake Dam is a spot that is near Buckhorn Lake. Buckhorn Lake gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is September.

| | lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling close to Buckhorn Lake is Cape Fear, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Northington Ferry Trail. If you need a place to stay Jameson Inn Sanford is a tremendous choice, and going for a hike along the Campbell Creek Loop will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. A nice close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sanford, Nc, and you can run the rapids of Buckhorn Creek.

For the period of the months of summer at Buckhorn Lake highs are usually in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during
the wintertime temperatures at Buckhorn Lake drop into the 20's. Why not camp at Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground since you're here at Buckhorn Lake, and a quick visit to Bush Creek is without doubt a perfect idea.

for an overnight stay Dream Camps is a nice location to camp, and Shearon Harris Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out.
