If you fancy a little side trip, try Sherrill Gap, and get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Deep Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Bryson City Reservoir. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 40's,       and overnight lows in the 20's for Bryson City Reservoir. Any time is a delightful time at Bryson City Reservoir if you like the outdoors. Everybody close by loves skiing at Ober Gatlinburg, and there are plenty of people from Sevierville here at Bryson City Reservoir. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Great Smoky Mountains. Bryson City Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Here at Bryson City Reservoir you can catch a glimpse of Buzzardroost Mountain; Tuc-a-way Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Great Smoky Mountains has to offer.
