Britt-Fishman Lake is a rather wet place mostly with a good deal of rain; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is December. This lake is so wonderful. Proximity Hotel is a splendid place to get some rest, and Britt-Fishman Lake is not far       at all from Greensboro-High Point. Any time is a great time at Britt-Fishman Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Reedy Fork Creek, and Britt-Fishman Lake is not the only place close by, Walker Lake is a close by lake. A lake close by is Carter Lake, and after a long day outdoors O. Henry Hotel is a great place to spend a night or two. All through the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at                  Britt-Fishman Lake, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, generally in the 60's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Britt-Fishman Lake drop into the 20's.
