A visit to Briar Lake is always a good idea. For the period of the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Briar Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Briar Lake sink into the 20's. If time allows, Blue Ridge Parkway is a national park worth a visit. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Briar Lake Dam, and The Waverly Inn is a nice site to get some rest. by while you're at Briar Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can catch a sight of Bollers Knob from Briar Lake, and there are other places here than Briar Lake, for example Lugana Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular
place for people from Asheville; get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Green River. You completely have to have a thing about the Blue Ridge Mountains. Going for a hike on the Shut-In Trail is always a great adventure,
and a round of golf at nearby Hendersonville Country Club is a delightful way to kill some time. Crooked Creek Lake is a great lake in close proximity to Briar Lake; Jumpoff Rock is a good place to explore while in the region.
The amount of precipitation that falls at Briar Lake is close to the national average; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is October. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity
to Briar Lake. There are magnificent places to discover along the Side Hill Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Briar Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big willow Campground. Briar Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
