There's some exciting stuff to distinguish at Brewer Lake Dam in close proximity to Brewer Lake, and Brewer Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Pine Creek Cabins Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Brewer Lake. Nottely Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Brewer Lake has to offer, you       can camp at Poteete Creek Camp Ground. Be careful coming to Brewer Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Brewer Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is October. During the warm months here at Brewer Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down                  into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's while Brewer Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. The Great Smoky Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Great Smoky Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Murphy, and the top of Bell Mountain is easily spotted from Brewer Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Murphy, Nc is a nice spot to get some rest; since you're here, you could also stop at beautiful Harold Wells Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Cooper Creek, and there's great hiking along the Kirkland Creek Trail. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is bountiful here in the Great Smoky Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Hiawassee River offers some glorious whitewater, and don't leave Brewer Lake without first going for a hike along the Sugar Mountain Trail. You simply must explore Cobb Bluff while you're here at Brewer Lake, and some of the water close by flows, like Moccasin Creek.
