Many people like to go to Brewer Lake. Poteete Creek Camp Ground is a fine local campground. From Brewer Lake you obtain a fine vista of Bell Mountain, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Harold Wells Lake. Yeah, come here to Brewer Lake for a good time. Cherokee Hills Golf Club is a brilliant golf course nearby, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Murphy is a nice site to spend a night or two.

On a good day at Brewer Lake you can take a hike along the Kirkland Creek Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Cooper Creek offers some splendid whitewater. High temperatures at Brewer Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. at Brewer Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Hiawassee River, and if you're hooked on cool geologic characteristics try Cobb Bluff.
Have a splendid hiking adventure
along the Duncan Ridge Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Pine Creek Cabins Campground is a good site to camp. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Great Smoky Mountains. Moccasin Creek is
in close proximity to Brewer Lake and is always a delight to visit; Brewer Lake Dam is pretty. Brewer Lake is one of the lakes here in the Great Smoky Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Murphy,
Nc is a great place to get some rest, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Sugar Mountain Trail. Brewer Lake mostly gets lots of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture.
